My name is Yolanda, CEO of DataVision ID & Analytics, LLC

My educational background is in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Operations Engineering. I have worked as a technology professional for over 27 years as an Application Developer, Report Developer, Database Architect, Application Support Manager, and currently an Instructional Designer / eLearning Developer.

I transitioned from database development to eLearning development to enhance the delivery of application training for the Production Support Tier of our Information Technology division. My team is responsible for the support of over 30 applications, and can receive anywhere from 10 to 50 support requests in a single day. As an ID, I have been able to identify unique opportunities to standardize application training and find better ways to deliver job aids and support documentation to business users.

My biggest strength is my ability to transition from the weeds of complex system architecture to viewing the organization through a strategic and customer-focused lens; often serving as a bridge for effective communication between business and technical teams. I enjoy collaborating with SMEs, immersing myself in their expertise, and crafting purposeful learning experiences that prioritize the learner and align with business goals.

When I am not working, I enjoy sewing, woodworking, attending food and music festivals, and traveling with my family (spouse, 2 teenagers, French bulldog, and tripod Cat).
